FMG Return-to-Play Program Structured Athletic Clearance & Performance Reintegration

The FMG Return-to-Play (RTP) Program is a structured, medically supervised process designed to safely transition athletes from injury back to full competition. Our approach emphasizes objective assessment, progressive loading, and collaboration with families, coaches, and trainers.

Program Components

  • Comprehensive injury evaluation and diagnosis
  • Musculoskeletal ultrasound when indicated
  • Individualized rehabilitation plan
  • Prehabilitation to address underlying weaknesses or imbalances
  • Strength and conditioning progression guidance
  • Functional movement and sport-specific assessment
  • Concussion evaluation and graduated return protocols when applicable
  • Objective strength, mobility, and performance testing
  • Clearance documentation for school and athletic organizations

Goals of the FMG RTP Program

  • Reduce risk of reinjury
  • Restore full strength and confidence
  • Optimize biomechanics and performance
  • Ensure safe and evidence-based return to competition

Our philosophy: Return to Play should not simply mean return to participation — it should mean
return stronger, more resilient, and more prepared than before injury.
